Andhra Pradesh IT and education minister Nara Lokesh visited the Kanaka Durga Temple atop Indrakeeladri on Saturday and offered prayers to goddess Kanaka Durga. The minister was received by Endowments commissioner Ramachandra Mohan and temple executive officer Seena Naik, who made special arrangements for the darshan. Durga temple trust board chairman Borra Radhakrishna and other board members were also present during the visit.
Blessings and Offerings
After the darshan, Vedic scholars offered blessings to the minister, while temple authorities presented him with prasadam and sacred temple cloth. The temple management ensured a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for the minister and his entourage.
Wedding Ceremony Attendance
Later, Lokesh attended a private wedding ceremony held at the Mahamandapam within the temple premises. He blessed the newlywed couple and conveyed his warm wishes for their future. The minister's presence added a special touch to the auspicious occasion.
