BJP Leaders Stage Protest in Jamshedpur Over Missing Businessman's Son

BJP functionaries held a strong protest outside the office of the East Singhbhum SSP in Jamshedpur on Saturday. They expressed deep frustration over the continued disappearance of Kairav Gandhi, the 22-year-old son of local businessman Devan Gandhi. A special investigation team has been searching for him, but he remains traceless.

Political Leaders Lead the Charge

Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato and Jamshedpur (East) MLA Purnima Das Sahu led the protest. They were joined by numerous BJP workers who voiced their concerns loudly. The protesters criticized the current law-and-order situation in Jharkhand. They directly accused the Hemant Soren-led government of failing to control the rising crime rate in the state.

Accusations Against the State Government

The BJP leaders made serious charges against the Hemant Soren administration. They claimed the government has not provided good law and order. The kidnapping of the trader's son has made the local business community very nervous. Bidyut Baran Mahato stated that the administrative machinery has completely collapsed in Jharkhand.

He highlighted a sharp increase in various crimes. Ransom calls, kidnappings, murders, snatchings, and robberies have grown manifold. Mahato emphasized that Kairav's abduction has particularly frightened the business community in Jamshedpur, often called the Steel City. The protesters demanded immediate action to find Kairav and improve security.

The demonstration underscored growing public discontent. People are worried about safety in the region. The BJP's protest signals political pressure on the state government to address these law and order failures promptly.
