The deceased has been identified as Madhu, a young resident of C Belagal village who was studying at the Zilla Parishad High School in the area. According to reports, Madhu attended school as usual on Tuesday but failed to return home in the evening, prompting immediate concern from his family.
His parents, Maddileti and Rangamma, launched an exhaustive search after he did not come back. Their efforts led them to the banks of a nearby water body, where they discovered Madhu's school bag and uniform, raising alarm bells about a possible drowning.

Upon finding the belongings, a rescue operation was initiated without delay. However, despite the urgent efforts, Madhu could not be located on Tuesday.
