CM Naidu to Visit Vizag on June 5 and 8 for Events

Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to visit the Port City of Vizag on Friday, June 5, and Monday, June 8, to participate in various programmes. On Friday, CM Naidu will take part in a national seminar on seafood exports alongside Union ministers. Later in the evening, he will review the progress of the Visakhapatnam Economic Region (VER).

Arrangements Reviewed

Visakhapatnam district collector M Abhishikt Kishore, along with police commissioner Sankabrata Bagchi, reviewed the arrangements for the CM's visit. On Thursday, CM will arrive at the helipad at Coastal Battery on Beach Road from Tadepalli in the morning. He will then attend the national seminar and later the VER review.

Saturday's Schedule

On Saturday, CM will reach the Rushikonda helipad from Tadepalli and proceed to the CoEET (Centre of Excellence for Energy Transition) building near Iskcon temple by road. He will participate in various programmes from morning until noon. After lunch, he will travel from Rushikonda helipad to Tarluwada to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the semiconductor unit of APS Technologies, located near the Google Data Centre site.

Coordination and Security

The collector called upon representatives of the Central and state governments to work in coordination to ensure the success of the programmes. He instructed police officials to oversee security arrangements. Among those present at the review meeting were EPDCL CMD Prithvi Tej, joint collector Gobbilla Vidyadhari, GVMC commissioner Ketan Garg, VMRDA commissioner Tej Bharath, NFDC commissioner Tej Bharat, and others.
