Intellectuals’ Conference in Bahadurgarh
Bahadurgarh hosted an Intellectuals’ Conference on Sunday, drawing doctors, lawyers, teachers, chartered accountants, industrialists, and business community members. BJP national secretary and former minister Om Prakash Dhankar was the chief speaker.
Dhankar praises Modi’s leadership
Dhankar said India has achieved remarkable progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strong leadership. He noted that Modi’s vision to transform India into a developed nation by 2047 has become a national dream and commitment.
Congress marginalised due to weak leadership
Dhankar claimed the Congress party is becoming politically marginalised because of its anti-people policies and weak leadership. He also said regional political parties are losing support.
Call for national interest focus
Addressing the changing global scenario, Dhankar urged citizens to stay focused on national interests. “Every Indian should take a pledge to contribute something to the country,” he added.
Modi government achievements highlighted
Dhankar listed achievements over the past 12 years, including the PM Crop Insurance Scheme reducing farming risks. He said the Haryana Government provides around Rs 1,100 crore annually to farmers under its disaster management policy. He also noted that Ayushman Bharat has relieved poor families and senior citizens from expensive medical treatment concerns.

Attendees interacted with Dhankar, seeking information on future government policies. Questions raised were answered during the session.

Earlier, BJP leader Dinesh Kaushik welcomed attendees. District in-charge Captain Bhupinder Singh, district president Vikas Balmiki, Zila Parishad Chairman Captain Birdhana, Dinesh Shekhawat, and other leaders also addressed the gathering.
