Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Presents One-Year Performance Report, Criticizes AAP Legacy

On Friday, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta unveiled a comprehensive report card to commemorate her government's first year in office. The event served as a platform for CM Gupta to showcase the accomplishments of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) administration while delivering sharp criticism of the preceding Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led government.

From Promises to Action: A New Work Culture for Delhi

Addressing reporters, CM Rekha Gupta emphasized a shift from political rhetoric to tangible results. "Today's report card reflects the facts of our one year of hard work and change," she declared. "This government is not a government of promises, but of results. This government is not a government of announcements, but of action."

She outlined her administration's mission to transform Delhi's trajectory. "In one year, we have tried to take Delhi from stagnation to progress. We tried to take it from excuses to solutions, from advertisements to development," CM Gupta stated, positioning her tenure as a decisive break from the past.

Transforming Governance: Solutions Over Social Media

The Chief Minister claimed to have fundamentally altered the work culture within the National Capital. "With every step we took, the government focused on less paperwork and more work," she asserted. "I can say that the government in Delhi today does not engage in poster politics, does not engage in tweet politics. We have transformed Delhi's work culture. We offer solutions, unlike previous governments, who used to make noise."

Expressing confidence in her government's broad impact, she added, "Today, as we complete one year, I can confidently say to the people of Delhi that we have worked across every sector to bring about positive change in Delhi."

Spiritual Beginnings and Public Gratitude

Marking the anniversary, CM Rekha Gupta began the day by offering prayers at the Margat Wale Hanuman Baba Temple. Following the religious observance, she extended heartfelt thanks to the citizens of Delhi and reaffirmed her commitment to transformative governance.

"I thank the people of Delhi from the bottom of my heart, who gave this opportunity to the BJP to serve in Delhi," she expressed. "I want to thank the Prime Minister that he entrusted the responsibility of Delhi, the capital of the country, to a worker like me, and trusted me." She also acknowledged and congratulated all BJP workers for their support.

Looking ahead, CM Gupta made a firm assurance: "Today, the government has completed one year. I assure you that the tenure of five years will change the condition of Delhi."

Expanding Social Welfare: Inauguration of New Atal Canteens

In a related development, the Delhi government on Thursday inaugurated new Atal Canteens across the national capital. These facilities are designed to provide affordable meals to approximately 70,000 people on a daily basis.

The launch ceremony was attended by CM Rekha Gupta, Delhi Minister Ashish Sood, and Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena. The canteens aim to enhance food security and accessibility for residents throughout the city.

"It is a moment of joy for the people of Delhi," CM Gupta remarked to reporters. "Every day, 70 thousand people will get food at these Atal Canteens. We are fulfilling Atal ji's dream and have successfully completed one year of government in Delhi."

She highlighted the scale of the initiative, noting, "We have established 70 Atal Canteens across Delhi. It is a great experience for us." This expansion represents a significant step in the government's efforts to address nutritional needs and honor the legacy of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
