In a brazen daylight attack on Thursday morning, a gym operator was shot dead by two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle in Hansi town, Haryana. The deceased, identified as Kapil (27), was standing outside his gym when the attackers opened fire at close range, firing approximately 10 rounds.
Incident Details
According to police reports, Kapil was imparting training to customers outside the gym when two men on a motorcycle approached him and began shooting. The assailants fired around 10 rounds, hitting Kapil multiple times. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
A woman who was passing through the street at the time of the incident also sustained injuries. She was referred to the Civil Hospital in Hisar for treatment. Her condition is reported to be stable.
Investigation Underway
Police officials stated that the motive behind the murder is still unclear. However, the entire crime was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity. Authorities are analyzing the footage to identify the accused and ascertain the reason for the attack.
Kapil was a native of Dalamwala village in Jind district and had been residing in Shanti Nagar, Hansi town. Police have launched a manhunt for the two assailants, who fled the scene after the shooting.
