Haryana Finalises Republic Day Celebrations Across State
The Haryana government has finalised its schedule for Republic Day celebrations on January 26. Dignitaries will unfurl the national flag at district and subdivision levels throughout the state.
Key Flag Hoisting Events
Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh will lead the main ceremony in Panchkula. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will preside over the function in Gurgaon. Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will hoist the flag at the newly created district of Hansi.
The national flag will be unfurled at 10 am sharp across all divisions, districts, sub-divisions, tehsils, and other prominent locations. An 'At Home' programme will follow at Lok Bhawan in Chandigarh.
District-Wise Assignments
Several ministers and legislators have received specific assignments for the celebrations:
- Rajya Sabha Member Rekha Sharma will unfurl the flag in Ambala.
- Cabinet minister Ranbir Gangwa will hoist the flag in Bhiwani.
- MP Dharambir Singh will preside over the ceremony at Charkhi Dadri.
- Health Minister Arti Singh Rao will unfurl the national flag in Faridabad.
- Deputy Speaker Krishan Lal Middha will lead the function at Fatehabad.
School Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda will handle the Hisar ceremony. Minister of State Rajesh Nagar will oversee Jhajjar. Women and Child Development Minister Shruti Choudhry will manage Jind.

MP Naveen Jindal will unfurl the flag at Kaithal. Speaker Harvinder Kalyan will preside over the Karnal function. Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi will lead the Kurukshetra celebrations.
Industries Minister Rao Narbir Singh will handle Mahendragarh. MP Subhash Barala will oversee Nuh. Rajya Sabha member Ram Chander Jangra will manage Palwal.
