Hindu Ekta Manch Demands Arrest of Three in Goa

Panaji: The Hindu Ekta Manch organized a massive public gathering at Azad Maidan in Panaji, where they demanded the immediate arrest of three individuals who allegedly insulted Hindu deities on social media platforms. Following the meeting, the group marched to the Goa police headquarters and requested a meeting with Director General of Police Alok Kumar.

Delegation Meets Senior Officials

A five-member delegation met with senior Goa police officials, during which they demanded the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the three individuals accused of insulting Hindu deities. The organization specifically called for the arrest of Warren Alemao, Girish Chodankar, and Govind Shirodkar.

Police Complaints Filed

The Hindu Ekta Manch has filed complaints at various police stations against the three accused. They questioned why an FIR has not been registered against those who spoke against the Hindu religion. A member of the group stated, "If the social media users are abroad, then they must have families here. Arrest the family members and bring them here. All Hindus will remain angry until these three who insulted our gods are not arrested."
