A horrific road accident in Jaipur claimed the life of a 28-year-old man early Friday morning after his SUV violently rammed into an iron divider. According to police reports, the fatal crash occurred around 2:40 AM in the Murlipura area of Jaipur. The victim has been identified as Anand Singh Shekhawat, a 28-year-old resident of Sunder Vihar in Kardhani. He was driving towards Murlipura from Dadi Ka Phatak when the tragedy unfolded.
Accompanying him in the vehicle was his friend, Shakti Pratap, a 22-year-old resident of Devdhara Colony in Murlipura. Pratap miraculously survived the devastating collision with only minor injuries.
Sequence of Events Leading to the Fatal Crash
Police investigation reveals that the two friends were traveling in the SUV for some work when the vehicle reportedly lost control near Kedia Circle in Murlipura. "The SUV veered off its path and crashed directly into the iron railing constructed in the middle of the road," explained a senior police officer involved in the case.
The force of the impact was catastrophic. It snapped an iron angle from the divider, which then shattered the front windscreen completely before penetrating the driver's side of the vehicle. This metal projectile struck Anand Singh directly in the chest, causing critical, life-threatening injuries.

"He sustained critical injuries and was trapped inside the mangled vehicle," stated an officer from the Accident (West) police station. "As the co-passenger alerted us, our team reached the spot immediately. We had to use specialized metal cutting equipment to slice through the iron angle and carefully extricate the victim from the wreckage."
Despite rapid rescue efforts, the situation was dire. The victim was rushed by ambulance to Kanwatia Hospital for emergency medical attention. However, upon arrival, doctors examined him and declared him brought dead. The injuries proved too severe for any medical intervention to be effective.
