Ranchi witnessed significant developments as the Jharkhand government commenced its silver jubilee celebrations, marking the state's 25th formation year. Chief Minister Hemant Soren made a compelling appeal to the youth population during a media interaction at Project Building following a cabinet meeting.

CM's Vision for Youth Participation

Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed immense pride in Jharkhand completing 25 years and emphasized the crucial role of young people in shaping the state's future. "It is a matter of pride for all of us that we are turning 25. The time has come for all of us to build a state filled with potential and opportunities," stated the Chief Minister.

He specifically addressed the younger generation, highlighting their unique capabilities. "While the government is committed to work towards it, I appeal youngsters to step forward. You are talented, dedicated, creative and educated too to help the state make Hamar Shona Jharkhand."

Statewide Initiatives Launched

The celebrations began with practical initiatives, including a blood donation camp at Project Building where CM Hemant Soren and Health Minister Irfan Ansari personally donated blood. This event marked the commencement of a comprehensive statewide blood collection drive.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of this healthcare initiative, stating, "We hope that this drive will go a long way to make blood available for needy in coming days. We appeal all to make the drive a mega success."

Additional Chief Secretary Health Ajoy Kumar Singh elaborated on the campaign's objectives, noting that it aims to "foster a culture of voluntary blood donation with the message 'Swabhav Mein Raktdaan' so that no patient faces shortage of blood in times of need."

Government Outreach Programmes

In another significant announcement, the Chief Minister revealed that the state government's Sarkar Aapki Dwar Programme will soon commence across Jharkhand. Explaining the people-centric approach, Hemant Soren said, "Our government is people's government. Hence, every year, the entire government goes to the doorsteps of the people with these camps to hear their problems and resolve them."

The health department has established comprehensive systems to support the blood donation initiative. Civil surgeons will supervise district level blood donation camps, while citizens can access information about blood donation camps, blood bank availability, and donation procedures through the e-RaktKosh portal or mobile app.

For additional assistance and queries, the government has activated a toll-free helpline at 104, ensuring easy access to information for all potential donors and participants in the silver jubilee celebrations.
