Speaking to the media, Shivakumar emphasized, "All guarantee schemes will continue one hundred per cent and that no one need to be anxious." This statement comes amid speculation about the financial burden of these schemes on the state exchequer. Gruha Lakshmi Scheme Details
Gruha Lakshmi is a flagship program of the Karnataka government that provides financial assistance to women heads of households. Under this scheme, eligible women receive a monthly stipend to support their families. The government has allocated significant funds to ensure its smooth implementation.
Other Guarantee Schemes
Apart from Gruha Lakshmi, the state runs several other guarantee schemes, including free electricity up to 200 units, free bus travel for women, and financial aid for farmers. Shivakumar's assurance covers all these programs, dispelling fears of any rollback.
The CM also urged opposition parties to refrain from spreading misinformation and assured that the government has made adequate budgetary provisions. He highlighted that these schemes are crucial for the welfare of the underprivileged and will continue to be a priority.
