Rama Rao asserted that the current government is employing investigative agencies to create what he termed political entertainment for citizens. According to his assessment, this strategy serves the dual purpose of generating sensational headlines while simultaneously obscuring unfulfilled electoral commitments and mounting administrative challenges facing the state.
"Despite my complete cooperation with the investigative process, the substance of the inquiry proved remarkably insubstantial," remarked the BRS leader. He detailed how officials spent considerable time reciting numerous names without presenting any tangible evidence to support their lines of questioning.
Unanswered Questions About Surveillance and Media Leaks
The political figure raised pointed concerns about systematic media leaks that have targeted opposition leaders and their families over the preceding twenty-four months. "The SIT investigators could not provide any explanation regarding the source of these persistent character-targeting leaks," he emphasized during his gathering with MLAs and MLCs.
Rama Rao further challenged authorities to address what he described as an entrenched surveillance culture that has reportedly expanded under the present administration. He referenced specific instances where government ministers have allegedly expressed reluctance to communicate freely due to monitoring concerns, questioning why these serious allegations remain uninvestigated while what he called fictional narratives receive official attention.

"Our party respects legal processes and demonstrates this through our prompt compliance with summons," declared Rama Rao.
