In Lucknow, Sarojininagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh convened a significant high-level meeting with office-bearers of Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) from high-rise apartments in the Ibrahim Pur IInd and Kharika IInd Wards under the Vrindavan Yojana on Thursday. The primary agenda focused on enhancing voter registration, streamlining the SIR (Systematic Investment Registration) process, and fostering informed civic participation among residents.

During the discussions, MLA Rajeshwar Singh underscored the critical importance of enlightened RWA voters in shaping national policies. He highlighted how informed citizens can drive progress on key issues such as green energy initiatives, environmental conservation, and foreign trade policies, all while maintaining a focus on unity and avoiding divisive political rhetoric.
Recognizing Academic Excellence
As part of the event, Singh honored 20 meritorious students for their exceptional academic achievements. Ten students were awarded laptops, while another ten received bicycles, bringing the total number of students rewarded in his constituency to over 1,800. Singh emphasized that these high-achieving students serve as social role models, inspiring the community with their knowledge, innovative thinking, and visionary outlook.
Boosting Sports and Intellectual Growth
To promote physical fitness and community engagement, sports kits were distributed to 32 RWAs, supporting the 268 Youth Clubs established across Sarojininagar. Additionally, Singh inaugurated libraries in 12 RWAs, increasing the total to 54. These libraries are designed to function as intellectual hubs, providing residents with access to educational resources and fostering a culture of learning.
Comprehensive Civic Improvements

These include the installation of 95 open-air gyms, 120 swings, and eight community solar parks within RWAs, with plans for further expansion in the near future.
