Mohd Salman, a 28-year-old resident of the Jama Masjid locality in Lawar, engaged in a heated telephone conversation with his brother, Imran. The dispute, which reportedly stemmed from an unspecified issue, escalated rapidly. In a sudden fit of extreme anger, Salman allegedly took a knife and repeatedly stabbed his own thigh, causing severe and profuse bleeding. He collapsed immediately at the scene.
His wife, Ayesha, discovered him lying unconscious in a large pool of blood and raised an urgent alarm. Family members quickly responded and rushed the critically injured Salman to a hospital located in Modipuram. "Since the family did not want to pursue a police case, a post-mortem examination was not conducted," he stated.
