CM Stalin Launches 'Vibe With Stalin' Youth Outreach, Inaugurates Rs 209 Cr Schools
MK Stalin's 'Vibe With Stalin' targets Tamil Nadu youth voters

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin has unveiled a fresh initiative aimed directly at the state's younger demographic, titled 'Vibe With Stalin'. This programme is designed to foster direct dialogue between the CM and the youth, marking a significant push to engage with first-time and young voters ahead of future electoral battles.

Direct Dialogue: The 'Vibe With Stalin' Initiative

The novel campaign, 'Vibe With Stalin', will see the Chief Minister holding one-on-one interactions with young people across various districts of Tamil Nadu. According to a DMK functionary, the meetings are intended for Stalin to listen to personal stories, aspirations, and concerns directly from the youth. A teaser video for the initiative, released on Monday, showcased clips of Stalin in casual conversations with young individuals, setting the tone for the upcoming engagements.

This strategic move is widely seen as an effort to consolidate the DMK's support among a crucial voter base that is increasingly active and vocal about its expectations from the government. By creating a platform for personal interaction, the ruling party aims to build a stronger, more relatable connection with the next generation of Tamil Nadu's electorate.

Stalin's Defence of the Dravidian Model

Later on Monday, at a book release event in Chennai, Chief Minister Stalin launched a vigorous counter-attack against opposition parties. He asserted that the rise and resilience of the Dravidian movement have left his political adversaries rattled. Stalin claimed that the mere mention of the "Dravidian model" of governance was enough to make his opponents "seethe with anger."

He framed the criticism as a reaction to the empowerment of historically marginalised communities. "Forces opposed to social justice could not tolerate the political and social ascent of the oppressed," Stalin said, adding that such hostility surfaces whenever these communities begin to assert their rights and identity.

Boosting Education in Backward Districts

Earlier in the day, demonstrating his administration's focus on development, the Chief Minister virtually inaugurated key educational infrastructure projects. He launched two new model schools located in Cuddalore and Villupuram, two of the state's most educationally backward districts. The construction cost for these two model schools alone amounted to Rs 113 crore.

In a simultaneous boost to government schools across the state, Stalin also inaugurated 392 new classrooms, four laboratory buildings, 16 toilet complexes, and eight drinking water facilities. These additions, spread across 60 government schools in 20 districts, were built at a cost of Rs 96 crore. The total value of the educational infrastructure inaugurated on Monday stands at a substantial Rs 209 crore.

This dual approach—combining direct political outreach through 'Vibe With Stalin' with tangible development work in critical sectors like education—highlights the DMK government's strategy to blend grassroots connection with governance deliverables as it looks to the future.
