A tragic road accident occurred in Hazaribag district on Tuesday when a passenger vehicle overturned, resulting in one death and six injuries. The incident took place near Chandwa Tongri on the Danto Khurd main road under Katkamsandi block.
Accident Details
According to police, the vehicle lost control while attempting to avoid a collision with a motorcycle and overturned by the roadside. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene immediately after the accident.
Victim Identification
The deceased has been identified as Vinod Bhuiyan (55), a resident of Duwari village in Chatra district. He was traveling to Danto Khurd to attend a wedding ceremony at his son-in-law's residence, said police officials.
Medical Response
Katkamsandi police station officer-in-charge Anupam Prakash confirmed that all injured individuals were promptly sent to Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital for medical treatment. The condition of the injured is reported to be stable.
