Posters Removed Ahead of Rahul Gandhi's Kota Visit
Posters put up by party workers ahead of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s arrival in Kota, Rajasthan, were removed by the administration at the behest of the BJP government, the Congress party alleged. The incident has sparked a political controversy, with Congress leaders questioning the motives behind the removal.
Dr. Girija Shetkar, a Congress supporter, tweeted: "Why is there such fear of Rahul Gandhi? Is it because he is fighting for GenZ?" The party has accused the BJP of trying to suppress the voice of the youth.
Congress Stands with Youth
Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Kota, a major coaching hub for competitive exams, is seen as an effort to connect with the young generation. The Congress has emphasized that the youth have questions and will not remain silent. The party claims that the BJP’s actions reflect a fear of Gandhi’s growing influence among young voters.
The administration has not yet commented on the removal of posters. However, the Congress has vowed to continue its outreach to the youth despite what it calls undemocratic tactics by the ruling party.
