The police have arrested the father and brother of the victim in connection with the crime. The victim, identified as Ravi, was a known drug addict who had been causing trouble for his family for several years. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Amroha, Dr. Ravi Shankar, stated that the arrests were made based on credible intelligence. “We received information that a family was planning to kill their own son. We immediately launched an investigation and apprehended the father and brother. They have confessed to their involvement in the conspiracy,” he said.
