Bhola Sen revealed that there was significant confusion regarding his mother's identity documents. Her voter ID card listed her name as Minu Sen, while her Aadhaar card showed Minati Sen. In a separate but similarly tragic incident, an 82-year-old man from Bhatora village under Sultanpur GP of Kalna I Block in East Burdwan died of a heart attack. Family members allege that the fatal cardiac event was triggered by severe stress that began on Saturday evening.
The elderly man had reportedly been under tremendous anxiety after discovering that his name was allegedly deleted from the voter list in the recently released SIR supplementary list. The continuous stress over this electoral confusion is believed to have precipitated the medical emergency that claimed his life.

Tanmoy Ghosh, the Trinamool Congress candidate from Serampore, visited the family of Minati Sen to offer condolences.
