Ahmedabad: The body of an unidentified woman, believed to be aged between 20 and 25, was found floating in a canal near Godhavi village in Sanand taluka on Tuesday morning, police said.
Investigation Underway
Investigators are probing all possible angles, including suicide and murder. According to Bopal police, locals noticed the body in the canal and alerted authorities. A police team reached the spot and recovered the body.
Postmortem and Identification
The woman’s body was sent for a postmortem to determine the exact cause of death. Police said her identity had not been established, and efforts were underway to trace her family members. Police said the circumstances surrounding the death would become clearer after the postmortem report and identification process are completed.
Authorities are appealing to the public for any information that could help identify the deceased. The area has been cordoned off, and further investigations are ongoing.
