The Border Security Force (BSF) is marking its 60th anniversary with a spectacular high-endurance running event titled 'BSF Run – Road to Heaven' scheduled for February 1. This unique marathon will unfold along the iconic 'Road to Heaven' in Dholavira, situated within the breathtaking Rann of Kutch in Gujarat.

The 'Road to Heaven' marathon features three distinct distance categories to accommodate runners of varying skill levels:
- 10 km run for beginners and intermediate participants
- 30 km run for more experienced runners
- 60-km Ultra Run for elite endurance athletes
Participants competing under the defence category will need to present a valid identity card during registration. Top performers in each category will receive honors, with special award categories reserved for defence personnel.

Participants will run near Dholavira, a world-renowned archaeological site of the Harappan Civilisation and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
