Chhattisgarh Archers Make History at National School Games
Archers from Chhattisgarh have achieved a remarkable feat at the national level. They delivered an outstanding performance at the Under-19 SGFI School National Games in Imphal, Manipur. This event brings significant recognition to the state's growing archery talent.
Historic Bronze Medals Secured
The prestigious competition took place from January 14 to 18. Representing Chhattisgarh, Padma Sahu from Mahasamund and Rustam Sahu from Rajnandgaon teamed up for a special achievement. They won a bronze medal in the mixed team compound event.
This victory marks a historic first for Chhattisgarh. It is the initial time a mixed team from the state has earned a medal in the modern compound category at the SGFI School National Games. The pair demonstrated great skill by defeating strong teams from Maharashtra and Kerala to reach the podium.
