Hardik, Aanaia Singh Win Top Spot in Golf Camp

Hardik and Aanaia Singh clinched the top position in the 5-8 years’ age category at the Junior Summer Golf Camp organized by the Chandigarh Golf Club at its Junior Golf Range. The 10-day camp, which concluded recently, saw participation from 58 young golfers, including children from economically weaker sections, underprivileged backgrounds, and those with intellectual disabilities, highlighting the club’s commitment to making golf more accessible and inclusive.

Age Group Winners

In the 9-11 years’ age group, Anhad Bir Singh secured the first place, while Rajbir Singh emerged victorious in the 12-17 years’ category. The camp provided structured coaching under the guidance of experienced coaches, including Saaniya Sharma, Tavleen Batra, Manjit Kochar, and Mahesh.

Prize Distribution Ceremony

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony attended by club president Major RS Virk (retd). Dilpreet Kaur Sekhon, president of Special Olympics Bharat, Chandigarh, delivered the vote of thanks. She expressed gratitude to the Chandigarh Golf Club management for providing children with intellectual disabilities an opportunity to participate in the camp, appreciating the club’s commitment towards inclusive sports.
