In a display of remarkable skill and composure, Mukabir, a first-year History student at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), has made the university proud by winning two medals at a prestigious national shooting event. The young athlete, who is also part of the university's shooting team, delivered an outstanding performance at the 7th National Sikh Games 2025–2026.

A Stellar Performance on the National Stage

The shooting competitions of the National Sikh Games were held at the Guns of Nations Shooting Sports Academy in Delhi from December 4 to 7, 2025. Competing in the challenging Junior category, Mukabir participated in the 10m Air Pistol discipline. His focus and rigorous training paid off handsomely as he secured a Silver Medal in the individual event. Adding to this glory, he also contributed to winning a Bronze Medal in the team event, showcasing both individual excellence and teamwork.

The success of the student-athlete was met with widespread acclaim from the Jamia Millia Islamia administration.
