Rajasthan Premier League Ball Badminton 2026 Announced

The inaugural Rajasthan Premier League Ball Badminton Championship 2026 is set to take place under the auspices of the Rajasthan Ball Badminton Association at Chaugan Stadium in Jaipur from June 14 to 18. This was announced during a press conference held on Saturday.

Player Registration and Auction

Shaukat Ali Mansoori, secretary of the Rajasthan Ball Badminton Association, revealed that online registration for both boys and girls players from Rajasthan was conducted from May 5 to 15. Based on their experience and performance, registered players were categorized into four groups: platinum, gold, silver, and bronze. A successful player auction was subsequently held on Saturday at Hotel Vesta Maurya Palace in Jaipur.

Prize Money and Format

The winning teams of the league will receive a cash prize of Rs 51,000 along with a trophy, while the runner-up teams will be awarded Rs 31,000 and a trophy. All matches will be played on a league-cum-knockout basis at Chaugan Stadium. Matches will be held under floodlights daily from 6 PM to 11 PM, ensuring an exciting experience for spectators.

Organizing Committee

The Rajasthan Premier League (RPL) has been established to oversee the event. The organizing committee includes patron Hawamahal MLA Swami Bal Mukund Acharya, president Dr. Rajpal Sharma, organizing secretary Shaukat Ali Mansoori, co-secretary Laxmikant Sharma, and members Abdul Abbas, Ankit Singh Naruka, Mohammad Zaheer, and Abdul Wahid.

Following the auction process, a total of 8 teams in the boys' category and 5 teams in the girls' category were finalized.
