The inaugural Rajasthan Premier League (RPL) Ball Badminton Championship 2026, organized under the auspices of the Rajasthan Ball Badminton Association, concluded with a grand finale at the Chaugan Stadium, Chhoti Chaupar, on Friday.
This five-day tournament showcased exceptional performances from talented male and female players across the state, keeping spectators thoroughly entertained.
Women's Final
According to Shaukat Ali Mansoori, organizing secretary of the Rajasthan Premier League and general secretary of the Rajasthan Ball Badminton Association, the women's final was contested between Pink City Royals and Shekhawati Warriors. In a one-sided summit clash, Pink City Royals delivered a brilliant performance, defeating Shekhawati Warriors 35-25, 35-33 to claim the inaugural Rajasthan Premier League Ball Badminton Championship.
Men's Final
The men's final featured Chittorgarh Smashers against Jodhpur Warriors. In a thrilling and intense three-set encounter, the Chittorgarh Smashers edged past Jodhpur Warriors 35-30, 23-35, 35-33 to secure the men's championship trophy. The players' superb athleticism and struggle during the final kept spectators enthralled until the end.
Both title-winning teams maintained their dominance throughout the tournament. The women's champions, Pink City Royals, and the men's champions, Chittorgarh Smashers, remained undefeated throughout the competition.
Closing Ceremony
The chief guest of the closing ceremony was Swami Balmukund Acharya, MLA of Hawamahal Assembly Constituency and patron of Rajasthan Ball Badminton Association, while the ceremony was presided over by Jethananand Vyas, MLA of Bikaner West Assembly Constituency.
The ceremony was graced by Chandramanohar Batwara, BJP MLA candidate from Kishanpole Assembly constituency, and Suresh Gurjar, Vice President of the BJP, Jaipur District. The guests honored the winning and runner-up teams with trophies and prizes.
In their addresses, the chief guest and other guests praised the Rajasthan Premier League Ball Badminton Competition, organized for the first time in Rajasthan. They stated that this competition is a historic initiative for the development of ball badminton in the state and for providing high-level competition to players.

Various individual awards were also presented at the closing ceremony.

The officials of Rajasthan Ball Badminton Association, district associations, technical officers, judges, and volunteers made important contributions to the successful organization of the competition.
Finally, Shaukat Ali Mansoori, organizing secretary of the Rajasthan Premier League and general secretary of the Rajasthan Ball Badminton Association, and Laxmikant Sharma, co-organizing secretary, expressed their gratitude to all guests, players, coaches, team managers, technical officials, collaborators, and sports enthusiasts present.
They stated that the successful organization of the first Rajasthan Premier League was possible due to everyone's cooperation and participation. They expressed confidence that this league will become a strong foundation for the development of Rajasthan Ball Badminton in the coming years.
