Former Indian fast bowler Varun Aaron has singled out New Zealand as a significant threat to India's aspirations in the upcoming 2026 T20 World Cup. Despite New Zealand's recent 4-1 series loss to India in a five-match T20I contest, Aaron believes the Kiwis possess the tools to challenge the hosts in the multinational tournament.

"New Zealand have one of the most well-rounded bowling attacks, whether it comes to spin or pace, because a lot of their players have extensive IPL experience," he said.
