Liverpool FC have reached an agreement to sign forward Victor Munoz from Osasuna, pending a successful work permit application and international clearance, the club announced on Friday.
Deal Details
The 22-year-old, who is currently representing Spain at the World Cup, completed his medical examination at the national team's base in Tennessee, USA. He has committed to a long-term contract with the Premier League side, as confirmed on Liverpool's official website.
First Signing Under Iraola
Munoz becomes the first new addition since the appointment of head coach Andoni Iraola. He will join his new teammates later this summer after concluding his World Cup campaign with Spain.
International and Club Form
The forward has earned two caps for Spain, scoring on his debut against Serbia in March. His international call-up followed an impressive season with Osasuna, where he made 34 appearances across all competitions, netting seven goals and providing five assists.
Munoz joined Osasuna last summer from Real Madrid, having made four senior appearances for Los Blancos after graduating from their youth academy. He previously spent time in the youth system of his hometown club, FC Barcelona.
Upcoming World Cup Match
Munoz is expected to feature in Spain's second group-stage match on Sunday against Saudi Arabia in Atlanta.
Second Summer Addition
He is the second player secured by Liverpool for the 2026-27 season, following an earlier agreement for Jeremy Jacquet.
