Mushfiqur Rahim continued his impressive run in Test cricket by scoring his 14th Test hundred on Day 3 of the second Test against Pakistan at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Monday. With this century, the veteran wicketkeeper-batter surpassed Mominul Haque to become the Bangladesh player with the most Test hundreds.
Record-Breaking Knock
Playing his 102nd Test match, Rahim reached the milestone with a boundary off the third ball of the 85th over bowled by Mohammad Abbas. The Sylhet crowd applauded the 39-year-old, while his teammates in the dressing room stood to acknowledge the achievement. Rahim's innings of 137 runs in the second innings included 12 fours and one six.
Historic Milestones
During his knock, Rahim also completed 16,000 international runs, becoming the first Bangladesh cricketer to achieve this feat across all three formats. He now has 16,058 runs in international cricket. Additionally, Rahim is already Bangladesh's leading run-scorer in Test cricket with 6,763 runs.

Bangladesh set Pakistan a target of 437 runs in the second Test. The hosts are aiming for a clean sweep in the two-match series after winning the first Test in Dhaka by 104 runs. Rahim had also contributed in the opening Test with scores of 71 and 22.
