RCB's Radha Yadav & Richa Ghosh Power Team to Third Straight WPL Win
RCB Wins Third Straight WPL Match with Radha, Richa Knocks

Royal Challengers Bengaluru secured their third consecutive victory in the Women's Premier League on Friday. They defeated Gujarat Giants by a convincing margin of thirty-two runs in Navi Mumbai.

Middle Order Provides the Firepower

RCB's top order struggled to find its rhythm early in the match. The team needed a spark, and it came from the middle-order batters. Radha Yadav and Richa Ghosh stepped up with aggressive and vital innings.

Radha Yadav played a spectacular knock, scoring her first half-century of the WPL season. She smashed sixty-four runs off just forty-seven deliveries. Her innings included six boundaries and three massive sixes.

Richa Ghosh provided excellent support at the other end. She contributed a quickfire forty-four runs from twenty-eight balls. Her innings featured four fours and two sixes.

A Crucial Partnership

Together, Radha and Richa built a match-defining partnership. They added one hundred and five crucial runs in only sixty-six balls. This partnership completely shifted the momentum in RCB's favor.

After their stand ended in the seventeenth over, Nadine de Klerk played a brilliant cameo. She scored twenty-six runs from just twelve deliveries. This late flourish helped Royal Challengers Bengaluru post a formidable total of one hundred and eighty-two runs for the loss of seven wickets.

Shreyanka Patil Spins a Web

Chasing one hundred and eighty-three runs, Gujarat Giants faced an uphill battle. Their powerful top order, including stars Beth Mooney and Sophie Devine, failed to deliver. The Giants had scored over one hundred and ninety runs batting first in their previous three matches, but chasing proved difficult.

Bharti Fulmali and Kashvee Gautam tried to mount a fightback with a fifty-six-run partnership. However, off-spinner Shreyanka Patil returned to break the stand. She had already dismissed Mooney and Kanika Ahuja earlier in the innings.

Shreyanka Patil, aged twenty-three, spun a magical web around the Giants' batters. Her brilliant bowling performance effectively ended the chase. She finished with exceptional figures of five wickets for just twenty-three runs in three point five overs.

Lauren Bell also contributed significantly with three wickets for twenty-nine runs. Gujarat Giants were bowled out for one hundred and fifty runs in eighteen point five overs, falling well short of the target.

Match Summary

Royal Challengers Bengaluru: 182/7 in 20 overs (Radha Yadav 66, Richa Ghosh 44; Sophie Devine 3/31).

Gujarat Giants: 150 all out in 18.5 overs (Bharti Fulmali 39; Shreyanka Patil 5/23, Lauren Bell 3/29).

This victory marks Royal Challengers Bengaluru's third win in a row. It demonstrates their growing confidence and team strength in the Women's Premier League.
