Previous Accidents Raise Concerns

Earlier on Sunday, two youths were killed in a collision between two motorcycles at Borgaon village. The bikes were traveling in opposite directions. These incidents have highlighted the issue of reckless driving on the stretch, which has numerous road curves.

Local residents on the Chowk to Karjat route have demanded the installation of road medians where missing. They allege that heavy vehicles and other motorists frequently violate traffic rules by driving on the wrong side, leading to mishaps.

Authorities urge drivers to exercise caution and adhere to road safety norms to prevent further tragedies.
