New Delhi: A day after three vehicles caught fire in separate incidents across Delhi, another car went up in flames on Mehrauli-Badarpur Road near Lado Sarai on Tuesday afternoon, officials said. The two people inside the vehicle managed to come out safely before the blaze intensified and engulfed the car.

Fire Incident Details

According to Delhi Fire Services (DFS), a call regarding a vehicle fire near Saket metro station on the main road came to the force at 12.26 pm, following which two fire tenders were rushed to the spot. Officials said the fire broke out in a car that was moving on a busy stretch of road.

“No injuries were reported in the incident. The fire was doused at 2.25 pm,” a senior fire official said. The incident comes a day after three vehicle fires were reported from different parts of Delhi.

Cause Under Investigation

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Fire officials are investigating the incident to determine what led to the blaze. The quick response of the fire tenders prevented the fire from spreading to other vehicles or causing any harm to bystanders.
