Chaudhary Bansi Lal University (CBLU) in Bhiwani has officially launched the admission process for its newly introduced five-year integrated BA LLB (Honours) programme for the academic session 2026-27. The university has opened an online portal to facilitate applications, marking a significant step in expanding legal education in the region.

Admission Portal Inaugurated by Vice Chancellor

Vice Chancellor Prof. Deepti Dharmani inaugurated the admission portal in a ceremony attended by key university officials, including Dean Academic Affairs Prof. Sunita Bharatwal, Admission Coordinator Prof. S K Kaushik, and Chairperson of the Department of Law Dr Pramod Malik. The online application process will remain open from June 19 to July 8, 2026, through the university's official admission portal.

Curriculum Aligned with Modern Legal Standards

Prof. Dharmani emphasized that the curriculum has been meticulously designed to align with contemporary legal education standards and the evolving demands of the legal profession. Students will have access to advanced academic resources, including online legal databases, comprehensive study material covering landmark judgments of the Supreme Court and High Courts, modern computer laboratories, smart classrooms, and digital learning facilities.

Programme Structure and Learning Approach

The programme has been structured on the lines of leading national law institutions, ensuring a robust foundation in legal studies while integrating interdisciplinary learning. Special emphasis is placed on experiential and practice-oriented learning through participation in moot court competitions, legal aid clinics, Lok Adalats, client counselling sessions, and national and international seminars and debate competitions.

Internship and Placement Opportunities

The university is actively developing collaborations with law firms, corporate organizations, and professional institutions to facilitate meaningful internship and placement opportunities for students, the Vice Chancellor added. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice, preparing students for successful careers in the legal field.
