Streams and Eligibility Criteria
Applications are invited for four distinct streams. For Economics, candidates must hold a Master's degree in Economics, preferably with a specialization in International Trade. Legal applicants require an LLM or LLB degree along with a Post Graduate Diploma in any legal subject. General Management positions require an MBA or equivalent from institutions ranked up to 100 in the NIRF rankings, or a Master's degree in Public Policy, International Affairs, or International Trade. Data Science candidates should possess a B.Tech, BE, MCA, or a Master's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, or Computational Mathematics.
Age Limit and Experience Requirements
The upper age limit varies by position: 35 years for Young Professionals, 45 years for Associates, 50 years for Consultants, and 65 years for Senior Consultants. Minimum experience requirements are as follows: one year for Young Professionals, three years for Associates, eight years for Consultants, and fifteen years or more for Senior Consultants.

Terms of Engagement and Working Conditions
Monthly remuneration will be as per Department guidelines, subject to statutory deductions, with no additional allowances or facilities. Working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM on working days, with possible extended duties in exigencies. One and a half days of leave per month is admissible with prior approval, and unutilized leave cannot be carried forward. Selected consultants must comply with the Official Secrets Act 1923 and maintain confidentiality of all government information. Engagement may be terminated with 30 days' notice or immediately in cases of non-performance or misconduct.
