Cause of the Fire

According to police officials, the fire was caused by a short circuit. The blaze gutted hundreds of fibre materials and mats that were stored in the auditorium.

One fire tender was dispatched to the scene, and firefighters successfully doused the flames. The fire was contained within the auditorium and did not spread to other parts of the school.

Thick Smoke Visible from a Distance

Since the fire gutted fibre and plastic materials, thick smoke emanated from the auditorium. The smoke was visible from a long distance, causing concern among residents in the vicinity. However, the prompt response of the fire department prevented any further damage.

A police officer stated, "The guards called the police control room, and one fire tender doused the flames. Since fibre and plastic materials were gutted, thick smoke emitted from the auditorium and was visible for a long distance."

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the short circuit and to assess the extent of the damage. The school management has been advised to conduct a thorough safety audit of the electrical systems.
