Oakter Launches Studio AC 5000 2026 Inverter Window AC

Oakter has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of the new Studio AC 5000 (2026) model. This new 0.5-ton 3-star inverter window AC is designed specifically for compact spaces such as study rooms, studio apartments, cabins, and small workspaces. The model introduces inverter-based cooling technology, an updated service-friendly design, and support for standard household power sockets.

Targeted Cooling for Small Areas

According to the company, the AC is designed for spaces up to 75 square feet and weighs approximately 22 kilograms. It aims to reduce electricity consumption compared to conventional air conditioners. The launch succeeds the Studio AC 5000 2025 model and brings inverter technology in place of the earlier fixed-speed compressor, offering more stable cooling and lower energy usage.

CEO Comments on the Launch

Commenting on the launch, Oakter CEO Shishir Gupta said, “Indian consumers today are looking for cooling solutions that are not just affordable, but also energy-efficient, compact, and easy to use in everyday urban living environments. With the Studio AC 5000 2026 Model, we have upgraded both the technology and the design to deliver smoother inverter-based cooling performance in a lightweight form factor that works on a regular household socket. The idea is to make practical and efficient air conditioning accessible to a wider set of Indian households.”

Oakter Studio AC 5000 2026: Key Highlights

The Studio AC 5000 2026 Model uses inverter-based technology, replacing the fixed-speed compressor used in the earlier version. Oakter states that the system delivers more stable cooling performance with lower energy consumption. The company claims the AC consumes around 500W of power, equivalent to approximately one unit of electricity in two hours, with an estimated running cost of around Rs 4 per hour. The model also carries a 3-star energy rating.

Additional features include an anti-dust filter, low-noise operation, and a CWRC cooling system, which the company says helps reduce water dripping outside the unit. This AC is designed to deliver cooling performance in humid and high-temperature conditions, targeting users across different climatic regions in India. The AC comes bundled with a remote control, mounting frame, one-year warranty on the unit, and a five-year warranty on the compressor.

According to the company, the model works with standard 6A home power outlets and can run on a 1200VA pure-sine wave inverter, reducing the need to change existing electrical setups.
