The registration process for postgraduate admissions in technical and pharmacy colleges across Gujarat has officially commenced and will continue until May 30. The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) has initiated this exercise for various Master’s degree programs, including Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Pharmacy (MPharm), Master of Planning (MPlan), and Master of Architecture (MArch).
Seat Availability and New Colleges
Currently, approximately 7,800 seats are available across 81 engineering colleges offering ME programs. There is a possibility that one new college may be added this year, which could further increase the total seat count. Similarly, in the MPharm stream, 65 colleges are offering about 2,887 seats, and nearly nine new institutions are expected to receive approval, potentially raising the intake capacity. However, the exact number of additional seats will be confirmed by the committee at a later stage.
For MPlan, 10 institutes offered 290 seats last year, while MArch had 34 seats across two colleges. No significant increase in the number of colleges is anticipated for these courses.
Registration Deadlines and Process
Registration for MPlan will remain open until May 30, while for MArch, the deadline is extended to July 7. The registration process for ME and MPharm is entirely online. In contrast, candidates applying for MPlan and MArch must download the application form from the official website and submit it offline at the ACPC office.
Detailed information regarding seat availability and course offerings will be updated on the official website throughout the admission process. Applicants are advised to regularly check the website for the latest updates.
