Asus Unveils New ProArt Laptops with Nvidia RTX Spark Superchip at Computex 2026
Asus made a significant splash at Computex 2026, introducing a host of new products. The highlight of the event was the launch of two new ProArt laptops powered by Nvidia's RTX Spark superchip. Additionally, the company unveiled a Zenbook 14 that offers flexibility in chip choice, two new Vivobook S models exclusively with Snapdragon processors, a V-series of desktops and all-in-ones designed to blend into home decor, a return to tablets after several years, and an AI assistant named Zenni Claw.
ProArt P16 and P14: First Laptops with Nvidia RTX Spark
The ProArt P16 (H7607) and P14 (H7407) are the first Asus machines to feature Nvidia's RTX Spark superchip. This platform is designed for Windows PCs built specifically for AI agents, meaning the AI model runs locally on the laptop rather than on a remote server. This eliminates the need to wait for data to travel over the internet, offering faster and more secure AI processing.
RTX Spark combines a Blackwell RTX GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores and fifth-gen Tensor Cores supporting FP4 precision, paired with a 20-core Nvidia Grace CPU. The two are connected via NVLink-C2C, a chip-to-chip interconnect typically used in data centers. Asus claims up to 1 petaflop of AI performance with 128GB of unified memory. This large memory capacity allows users to run large AI models without compromise.
The software stack is optimized for AI workloads. ProArt Creator Hub manages system resources, while MuseTree and StoryCube handle generative image and video tasks. MuseTree runs on Black Forest Labs' FLUX, and the ProArts are among the first to support FLUX.2, optimized using NVFP4 on RTX hardware for near-instant image generation.
The laptops feature a Lumina Pro OLED panel with 1,600 nits HDR peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, VRR, and anti-reflection coating. New color options include Nano Black and Neo White, both anti-smudge, marking the first time the ProArt line has moved away from silver-grey. Select markets will see these models in fall 2026.
ProArt Mini PC: Desktop Power in a Compact Form
The same RTX Spark stack is also available in a ProArt Mini PC for creators who prefer a desktop setup. It offers the full 1 petaflop of AI performance and up to 128GB of unified memory, with 140W thermal headroom for extended generative and rendering sessions. The chassis measures just 150 x 150 x 51 mm, includes 10GbE networking, and an M.2 PCIe Gen 5 x4 slot for storage expansion.
Zenbook 14: Flexible Chip Options
The Zenbook 14 is designed for everyday use and stands out for its flexibility: the same chassis can be configured with Intel, AMD, or Snapdragon processors. It weighs just 1.1kg with a Ceraluminum shell and comes in Arctic Blue and Komodo Coral colors. Battery life exceeds 21 hours, and NPU performance reaches up to 50 TOPS.
Vivobook S14 and S16: Snapdragon-Only Models
The Vivobook S14 and S16 are exclusively powered by Snapdragon X processors, with an NPU delivering 45 TOPS and a 30W TDP performance mode. The 16-inch model boasts an 89% screen-to-body ratio, while the 14-inch version starts at 1.28kg, offers over 25 hours of battery life, and charges to 60% in 49 minutes. Flip variants add a 360-degree hinge, 2K OLED touch display, and support for Asus Pen 3.0, weighing 1.41kg and 1.60kg respectively.
V-Series: Desktops Designed as Furniture
The V-series aims to make desktop PCs blend into home environments. The V700 Mini Tower (V701ML) features wood-grain finishes and softer contours instead of the typical gamer aesthetic. It can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, DDR5 memory, 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and optional GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics. The V200 AiO (VM240FA) is an entry-level option with an AMD Ryzen 5 40 and AI noise cancellation for video calls, while the V400 AiO (VM471QA) is a 27-inch Snapdragon-powered all-in-one.
Asus Pad: Tablet Comeback
The Asus Pad (T3201) marks the company's return to tablets after several years. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset and features a 12.2-inch 2.8K dual-layer OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. The chassis is 6.5mm thick and weighs 523g, with a magnalium body and fiberglass back. It includes four Dolby Atmos speakers, a 9,000mAh battery that reaches 50% charge in 30 minutes, and supports ASUS GlideX, Google Circle to Search, and facial login.
Zenni Claw: User-Friendly AI Assistant
Zenni Claw is Asus's new AI assistant designed to make agentic AI approachable. It features a three-step installation, a simple interface, and pre-built skills for work, daily planning, and travel. A key feature is intelligent routing: Zenni Claw decides whether to process tasks locally or in the cloud, reducing latency and keeping data on the device when possible.
Additionally, eligible Asus buyers will receive a three-month subscription to Goodnotes Essential and a discount on its premium AI features and templates.
