Silent Hill Townfall is set in Scotland in 1996, making it the first Silent Hill game to take place in the UK. Protagonist Simon Ordell is summoned back to the island of St. Amelia to “set things right.” He discovers a town enveloped in thick fog, deserted and still. As he ventures into the fog, he begins to realize his own connection to the town and its inhabitants. Simon then discovers fragments of a past rising to the surface.
Unlike other entries in the franchise, Townfall is a first-person experience that encourages stealth and puzzle-solving. Players will have access to a pocket CRT TV that alerts Simon to danger as he moves through areas.
