The chief guest of the program, Ajay Singh, who serves as a member of the National Quantum Mission, praised the institute's rapid progress toward becoming a world-class institution. "Cyber threats are no longer limited to traditional vectors like emails or SMS," Singh emphasized. "Now we're seeing crimes committed on a large scale through sophisticated techniques including voice cloning, deepfake videos, and fraudulent video calls. Through the UP State Institute of Forensic Science, dealing with such advanced threats will become significantly more manageable."

Singh issued a stark warning about emerging malware varieties that can learn independently and evolve automatically to bypass conventional security systems. He also highlighted the vulnerabilities inherent in cloud computing, noting that data attacks could potentially affect multiple organizations simultaneously.
