Navi Mumbai: The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has announced a two-hour traffic blockage on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near the Adoshi tunnel, located 41 km from the Bhor ghat section in Khalapur taluka, Raigad, on Thursday between 12 noon and 2 pm. The traffic blockage is necessary to remove loosened boulders stuck in the iron mesh installed on the hill slopes near the Adoshi tunnel. During the blockage, all heavy and bulky motor vehicles traveling from Pune towards Mumbai will be halted at the 59 km mark in the Bhor ghat. Similarly, vehicles moving from Mumbai towards Pune will be stopped at the 30 km mark. Light motor vehicles, buses, and passenger vehicles traveling from Pune to Mumbai will continue to use the missing link from the 59 km mark. For those traveling from Mumbai to Pune, they must use the missing link at the 39 km mark near the Khopoli exit. Additionally, LMVs, buses, passenger vehicles, and heavy and bulky motor vehicles coming from the Lonavala and Khandala regions towards Mumbai will be stopped at the 45 km mark on the expressway.
