Shared by the X user @earlyappleleaks, the leaked image depicts what appears to be a prototype iPhone 18 Pro featuring a reduced Dynamic Island area.
Details of the Dynamic Island Leak
The image shows another iPhone's flashlight illuminating the corner of the display, revealing a small circular punch-hole beneath the screen. This punch-hole is believed to house a relocated Face ID sensor, indicating Apple's efforts to minimize the Dynamic Island's footprint. This leak corroborates earlier rumors that the Cupertino-based tech giant is working on decreasing the size of the Dynamic Island for the iPhone 18 Pro model.
Potential Return of an Iconic Color
In addition to the design tweak, a report by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman indicates Apple is experimenting with a deep red color option for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. Gurman notes that red is currently the flagship color in testing, though Apple might retain orange in the lineup as well. The Bloomberg report stated, "Apple is now considering a deep red color for its next lineup. Given the success of orange, I wouldn't be surprised if the company keeps that option around and just adds the red as an additional choice. But red and orange might be a little too close on the color wheel to have both."
