Engine Specifications and Performance
Under the hood, the Guerrilla 450 is powered by the same 452cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that it shares with the Himalayan 450. This engine delivers a robust output of 40 horsepower and 40 Newton-meters of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox for smooth shifting and efficient power delivery. Notably, Royal Enfield has made no mechanical changes to the powertrain for the Apex variant, retaining the existing setup to ensure reliability and consistency across the model range.
Advanced Features and Technological Upgrades
In terms of features, the 2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 comes equipped with a tripper dash and a 4.0-inch round TFT display that offers Google Maps navigation, smartphone connectivity, and media controls for an enhanced riding experience. The Apex variant introduces Street and Sport modes with a memory function that retains the last selected setting after the ignition is switched off, a feature also extended to the Dash and Flash variants. Additionally, the Dash and Flash variants receive updated CEAT GRIPP XL RE tyres with a revised compound and tread pattern to improve grip and handling.
The Apex variant is fitted with road-focused 17-inch Vredestein Centauro ST tyres, designed to deliver a sportier riding experience with superior grip on wet and low-traction surfaces. Royal Enfield claims these are the widest and most grip-oriented tyres in the segment, enhancing safety and performance. Minor styling updates include a headlight cowl above the LED unit, similar to the Scram 440 and Shotgun 650, and a removable rear seat cowl that can be taken off to reveal the pillion seat, adding versatility to the design.
Hardware and Chassis Details
The 2026 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 continues to be built on a robust steel twin-spar frame, ensuring durability and stability. It is equipped with 43mm telescopic front forks and a linkage-type monoshock at the rear, aimed at providing a balanced combination of stability, control, and consistent handling across various riding conditions. This hardware setup is engineered to offer a comfortable and responsive ride, whether on city streets or open highways.
Colour Options and Aesthetic Appeal
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Apex variant is available in exclusive colours of red, black, and green, which set it apart from the rest of the lineup and emphasize its sport-oriented positioning. These dedicated colour options highlight the variant's unique identity, while the regular Guerrilla 450 continues with a wider colour range, including the newly introduced Twilight Blue alongside existing options, catering to diverse aesthetic preferences among riders.
