A 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp of No.1 Chandigarh Naval NCC Unit commenced on July 11, 2026 at Panjab University, Chandigarh. The camp has attracted 450 cadets from local schools and colleges, who will undergo intensive training in various subjects including drill, weapons, seamanship, leadership, personality development, and physical training.
Training Focus and Activities
The camp aims to enhance discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence among the cadets. Special guest lectures on traffic awareness, cyber security, and disaster management have been planned to equip cadets with essential skills and create awareness about contemporary challenges.
Guest Lectures by Experts
Keeping in view present-day challenges, the National Disaster Response Force will deliver lectures on disaster management. Additional sessions on traffic awareness and cyber security will be conducted by subject matter experts.
