Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Saturday conducted a visit to the Community Health Centre (CHC) near Balachaur in Nawanshahr, exposing the facility's complete abandonment. During a live broadcast on his social media page, Warring showed the deserted hospital, emphasizing the absence of doctors, supporting staff, and patients. He stated that this is the reality of healthcare services in Punjab, contrary to the claims made by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government through advertisements.
Visit Reveals Deserted Facility
Warring, accompanied by local party leader Ajay Mangupur, toured various sections of the CHC, all of which were found empty. People present at the site revealed that there is neither a doctor nor any diagnostic facility available. The Congress leader noted that a huge and spacious building has been rendered useless, calling it a classic example of how the AAP government has completely destroyed the health system in Punjab.
Contrast with Previous Administration
Quoting local residents, Warring disclosed that before the AAP government took over, the CHC had a regular doctor and a regular gynaecologist posted. However, after the AAP assumed power, everything vanished. He asserted that this exposes the lies of the AAP government regarding its claims of a special health model.
Warring declared that in the coming days, he will visit various other health and educational facilities that have collapsed under the AAP regime. "We will expose their true face," he announced, adding that the government will stand completely exposed.
