A community dog was rescued from a nearly 40-foot-deep pit after accidentally falling into an under-construction site in the Nitin Company area of Thane in the early hours of Sunday. The incident occurred when the stray dog wandered into the construction site and slipped into the pit.
Rescue Operation Details
The municipal rescue teams were alerted by a local resident who heard the dog's cries around midnight. An emergency response vehicle was dispatched, and the team quickly arrived at the location. They traced the dog to one of the pits dug for construction purposes.
Coordinated Efforts Lead to Successful Rescue
The rescue operation involved coordinated efforts between the fire brigade, disaster management team, and local residents. Using specialized equipment and careful maneuvering, the teams managed to pull the trapped dog safely out of the pit.
