Panic swept through Hasan Bhatti village near Faridkot on Monday evening after a truck-trailer loaded with wheat straw caught fire and was rapidly engulfed in flames. The quick thinking of the driver averted a potential disaster.

Showing remarkable presence of mind, the driver steered the burning vehicle away from the residential area to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby houses. He drove the truck to an open area near a water pump in the fields before bringing it to a halt. This decisive action ensured that no homes were threatened by the blaze.
