In a tragic incident in Bihar's Rohtas district, five people lost their lives and ten others sustained injuries in a road accident late on Tuesday night. The accident took place on the Sasaram-Bhabhua road near the Nokha police station area when a speeding vehicle rammed into a stationary truck from behind.

According to police officials, the vehicle, which was carrying several passengers, was traveling at high speed when it crashed into the parked truck. The impact was so severe that the front portion of the vehicle was completely damaged, leading to the immediate death of five occupants. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, where their condition is reported to be critical.
Rescue and Investigation
Local residents alerted the police, who arrived at the scene along with rescue teams. The injured were extricated from the wreckage and taken to the Sadar Hospital in Sasaram. The police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances that led to the accident.
