Guwahati: In a concerning development, four minor girls have gone missing in the city after leaving their homes for school, according to police officials. Kapil Pathak, the Officer-in-Charge of Basistha Police Station, stated that the girls left their residences on Monday morning with the intention of going to school but failed to return. “They did not inform their parents about their whereabouts or communicate any plans,” he added, highlighting the sudden nature of their disappearance.

Police Response and Investigation

The families approached the police on Tuesday and filed missing persons reports, following which a case was registered.
